My 5 Favorite Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks

The Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Luminous Modern-Matte Long-Lasting Lipstick is exceptional…pigmented, silky and hydrating, it is one of the most exquisite matte lip color options on the market.  I have already reviewed the pale nude Miss Kensington HERE and I mentioned the deep, nearly aubergine Birkin Brown HERE; I even included the peachy Sexy Sienna HERE…I guess my affinity for this lipstick is abundantly apparent!  This post is dedicated to five of my favorite shades in this formula: four shades in the peachy nude family (but of course) and one delightfully bright outlier.

Kindly scroll on for more details, a plethora of swatches and images of the lip color in action as well as the Bottom Line…

I can honestly say that I haven’t encountered a matte lip color formula quite like Matte Revolution.  Simultaneously smooth yet textured, the pigmented color illuminates the lips without looking decidedly shiny.
I love how creamy it feels upon application and the fact that my perennially dry lips somehow manage to stay comfortable and hydrated over the duration of wear is a minor miracle! Without any further ado, my five favorite shades are as follows:
  • Miss Kensington (also reviewed HERE): A soft, light pinky nude with a satin matte finish…so chic and understated.
  • *Very Victoria: A mid-toned neutral nude beige with slightly gray undertones…terribly on-trend and au courant.
  • *Sexy Sienna (also featured HERE): A radiant, medium peach for a beautifully warm look.
  • *Lost Cherry: A pastel coral-meets-red that instantly brightens the face while remaining entirely classic.
  • *Birkin Brown (also included HERE): A rich aubergine brown with enough translucence to be wearable; I wasn’t sure if I would feel comfortable in such a deep shade but I am finding myself reaching for it frequently.  It’s a quintessential fall shade with an unexpected edge.

I adore Charlotte Tilbury makeup, especially the lipsticks. I own and love the exact same shades of her matte lipsticks! I find her mattes to be comfortable and three dimensional. No flat, dry looking lips here. I have yet to be disappointed with any of her products.
I'm waiting with baited breath for her new Miracle Foundation to become available in the US.
As usual, you are beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful post.

You look amazing in Birkin Brown. I just got Bond Girl, which is … how can I say this … the perfect Fall lipstick. My first CT lipstick, but definitely not my last.
