Spotlight On: Decorte Beauty + Swatches of Every Product in the Line!

Introducing DECORTE Skincare + Beauty.
I possess a profound appreciation for Japanese skincare and beauty; the cutting-edge technology and beautiful formulations consistently call my name.  Earlier this spring, I was able to preview a new addition to the US beauty and skincare landscape with the arrival of DECORTE Skincare.  From stellar skincare to gorgeous base and lip products, this line is streamlined elegance incarnate.
Consequently, I am excited to share a comprehensive, swatch-heavy overview of the DECORTE; once only available in Asia, this lauded Japanese brand recently debuted stateside at Saks and earlier this spring!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the DECORTE products in action as well as the Bottom Line…
DECORTE Soft Creme Foundation.
The DECORTE Soft Creme Foundation (discussed HERE) is a resplendent formula; incredibly silky and nourishing, this glides onto the skin with ease.  The weightless texture allows my skin to feel like it’s able to breathe, even after hours of wear.
The coverage is an immediate medium that is easily buildable to full and the finish is a flattering satin matte for a hyper natural effect. I find that I get a comfortable 7-8 hours of wear before needing to touch up in my t-zone and love how even and creamy this makes my sensitive skin…this formula is a gem, indeed!

DECORTE Soft Powder Foundation.

Ever since having the opportunity to try it last month, I have been heavily relying upon the wonders of the *DECORTE Soft Powder Foundation (reviewed HERE).  The Foundation Case (sold separately) is crafted of a light yet stalwart metal and the refillable pans ensure that waste is avoided.

Finely milled with lush color payoff, the formula offers light to medium coverage, banishes shine and keeps skin looking fresh and healthy for hours on end.  I use it to set my t-zone in the morning and touch up in the late afternoon; and although it instantly perfects the skin, the texture is virtually invisible.  An absolutely exemplary formula, this powder has been a permanent fixture in my handbag as of late!

I appreciate the sturdy plastic shield that protects the powder and keeps the mirror clean…genius!

The New Nudes.

Finally, the *DECORTE V Fusion Lip Palette is utterly divine! In two color families (Nude and Red), this lip color formula is unlike anything I’ve ever tried.  The lip color is thin yet pigmented, semi-matte, yet hydrating and impressively long lasting.

The New Nudes has every nude–from pinky beige to light russet brown–for endless color combinations and personalized customization. This palette is truly a must for nude lovers and for those who prefer more vibrant hues, The New Reds is also swatched below!

To remain in neutral territory, I applied the four shades in my custom made quad by Anastasia Beverly Hills.  This eye shadow formula is buttery, pigmented and long lasting.

    Hi Rachael,
Would love to know your thoughts on how the Decorte Soft Creme Foundation compares to the Kanebo Sensai Cellular Performance Foundation that is no longer available in the U.S? Agree with the previous comment – the shoes are fabulous!

      Hi Carrie,

Thanks for the question! Yes, the Decorte calls to mind the wonders of the Kanebo (in terms of coverage, finish and lasting power)…with more shade options…such an exciting discovery ; ) Much appreciation for the kind words about my shoes!

      XO,
