The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Collection.
The curved doe-foot wand ensures precise and seamless application .
Boasting intense color payoff and a hydrating sueded finish, the *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips (also available at Charlotte Tilbury) are a liquid lip color lover’s dream. In light of the swath of matte liquid lip formulas that have been released over the past year, I found myself growing rather apathetic to this type of lip color, which can often appear cracked and dry after a short stint of wear.
The weightless formula of *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips, however, has been a refreshing surprise that has renewed my interest in this lip color genre! The weightless formula enables full opacity in a single coat and my lips stay moisturized and balanced feeling for hours, wearing off evenly (no dreaded white ring) and comfortably. There is a faint vanilla fragrance and no discernible taste and the shade offerings are exquisitely wearable, ranging from light nude to rich red with everything in between.
All in all, the *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips (also available at Charlotte Tilbury) is a delightful take on the matte liquid lip–even for those who may feel the category is oversaturated– and I wholly recommend picking up a shade or three!

*Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand and *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand

Designed to deftly sculpt the face in a single sweep, the opulent cream formula of the *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand and *Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand (also available at Charlotte Tilbury) yields cheekbones and dimension in seconds. The Contour Wand comes in two shades: Light to Medium and Medium to Dark (shown below) and the rich brown of the Medium to Dark is a perfect hue to impart believable warmth and accentuate one’s features.

I focus application along the hollows of my cheeks and along the perimeters of my face (including the jawline) and have determined the formula to be infinitely blendable and extremely natural. A little of the *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand (also available at Charlotte Tilbury) goes quite a long way and the cream formula ensures that it will become one with the skin with a touch of buffing…simply brilliant!
The *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand (also available at Charlotte Tilbury)  is a more radiant version of the subtle Wonderglow formula, creating eye-catching incandescence on demand. The universally-flattering champagne beige hue has a lush satin finish that is still more lit-from-within than overt shimmer. A tiny touch along the upper cheek bones, down the bridge of the nose and on the Cupid’s bow blended with one’s fingers is all that is necessary to create an illuminated countenance with the just the right amount of it-factor.  The tube packaging and sponge tip applicator make applying liquid highlighter a breezy endeavor further adding to the inherent value of this glow-getter.

  • Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation in Golden Sand: I picked this up on a whim while in Philadelphia last week (more on my trip HERE) and am very impressed with the lightweight full coverage and natural matte finish; I first test drove it on a 12+ hour day of humidity and delayed flights (good times) and never needed to touch up. It is oil-free, silicone-free, fragrance free and consequently, friendly to sensitive skin. I managed to do hasty swatches of 14 of the 16 shades…hope you find them helpful!
  • *Sisley-Paris Concealer #3 (also available at Beautylish and reviewed HERE): This light beige concealer with long-term skincare benefits has soft yellow undertones that help to counteract darkness and brighten up my entire eye area. I use the apricot-toned #2 as well…both are simply marvelous.
  • *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand (available at Beautylish on 8/23): Blended in the hollows of my cheeks and along the perimeters of my face for warmth, depth and dimension…love that this doubles as a bronzer and a contour.
  • *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Beauty Light Wand: On the high points of my face for a flattering glow.
  • *Tom Ford Sheer Cheek Duo in Paradise Lust (also available at Beautylish and reviewed HERE): For a subtle peachy pink cheek, I mixed both the iridescent pink highlighter with the peachy coral blush for a radiant flush that works well with a late-summer tan.

*Marc Jacobs Eye-Econic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palettes

Buttery smooth with magnificent color payoff and a vast range of finishes, this updated eyeshadow formula is simply stellar; each palette contains seven shades in four varying finishes (matte velvet, satin, silk and lame)–six coordinating hues and one major and unexpected “pop” of color that take the palette to the next level–resulting in incredible value and versatility for a single product. The fragrance-free shadows are beautifully blendable with minimal fallout and sublime crease-resistant performance.

My sincere suggestion…find your shade family and experiment to your heart’s content: you won’t be disappointed!

My three favorite *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips shades
// LIPS //
  • *Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Lips (also to be available at Beautylish on 8/23): I decided to focus on my favorite three shades from the range: Platinum Blonde is a flattering peachy pink nude with enough opacity to keep from washing out the face, Dolly Bird is a creamy nude pink that doesn’t oxidize to something darker (just perfect!) and Dangerous Liaison–out of my comfort range but a fun adventure–is a warm rust-toned red that can be dressed up or down.

You look stunning, Rachel! ..But what's new 😉 Love your picks, and even better, that both of CT and MJ are cruelty free brands too 🙂 I so need Platinium Blonde & Dolly Bird in my life! Are they transfer proof and did you use liner with them?
Glambition Palette is calling my name! Makeup Geek In the Nude is another great, travel friendly all-in-one palette on my wish list! ..Can you tell, that I might be nude shade lover ;)?
Is MJ Eye Primer your new fave and what eye shadow primer would you rec for oily, hooded :/ eye lids? I have dry skin, and love his Coconut Primer, but my lids are another story..
And love It Cosmetics; Super Hero is my Hero too 😉 Have you tried their new Bye Bye Lines Foundation already? It sounds so good..
