Sisley-Paris Beauty Spotlight…Swatches Galore and a Brilliant Solution for Those of Us Who Are Heavy-Handed with Blush

Sisley-Paris Beauty has arrived at Beautylish, thereby increasing the accessibility of this venerable and distinguished French line for makeup lovers everywhere!  Today I am excited to share some major beauty from the brand…from subtle blushes and smoky eyes to dark fringe and bold lips, the opulence knows no end.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action…
Me at age 3…still hadn’t mastered the art of blending.
I wholeheartedly admit that I’ve always had a bit of a heavy hand when it comes to blush, as evidenced above.  Consequently, throughout my adult years I have learned to seek cheek products that offer a subtle wash of color so I don’t even have the opportunity to overdo it.  My latest finds in this magical category are the *Sisley-Paris L’Orchidee Highlighting Blushes:
  • *L’Orchidee Highlighting Blush: What might first appear to be a bronzer actually possesses the ability to (1) warm and lightly contour the face, (2) add a pop of soft coral color to the cheeks and (3) deliver a luminescent glow to the high points of the face.  The various parts of the orchid are large enough to dip one’s brush with intention and precision and, when all sections are swirled together, the bronze glow that results is undeniably pretty on medium to tan skin tones.
  • *L’Orchidee Rose Highlight Blush: The much paler, pinker counterpart to the original L’Orchidee, this delicate bloom offers a medium pink pop of color (for the apples of the cheeks), a dusty rose tone that works well to enhance depth and dimension and a lilting pink hue that can be used as an all over illuminator.  The results are subtly ravishing.
I prefer to apply the original L’Orchidee as a bronzer and then concentrate the L’Orchidee Rose on the apples of my cheeks and high points of my face…the duo is unmitigatedly alluring while still being delightfully understated…just the way my cheeks prefer.

Works of art, no?
The *Sisley-Paris So Curl Mascara (shown here with the –previously Phyto-Touche Sun Glow Bronzing Gel, reviewed HERE) has been the recipient of much buzz in recent days.  The jet-black formula adds volume and length while gently coaxing even the most stubborn lashes into a perky curl that lasts the day.  No smudging or flaking in sight, this mascara has marvelous lasting power as well…absolutely divine.
The fluffy brush leads to fluffy lashes.
The Sisley-Paris Dream Palette.
Brimming with warm and flattering neutrals, the *Sisley-Paris Phyto 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Palette in Dream is effortless chic in a compact.  The shades include:
  • Soft champagne beige with pearl finish
  • Rich chocolate brown with satin finish
  • Plush bronzy brown with satin finish
  • Warm iridescent pink…a breathtakingly gorgeous and unique shade!
Finely-milled with a gossamer touch, the shadow glides on and becomes like a pigmented and glowing second skin on the lid.  I like to apply the bronzy brown all over my lid and then blend the iridescent pink up to the brow bone for gradient transition.  I sweep a mixture of the two shades along my lower lash line and add a touch of the champagne beige at the arch of my brows and inner corner of my eyes (with my pinkie) for additional glow.
The versatility of this palette is undeniable…if you are looking to spluge on a single eye product from Sisley-Paris, this is an excellent place to start!

Sisley-Paris Petal and Rose Cashmere.
For lips, I’ve been wearing a lot of the *Sisley-Paris Hydrating Long Lasting Lipstick in Petal (a warm peachy pink with a tender frost finish) and Rose Cashmere (a creamy rose nude with a bit of shine).  The weighty golden case, emblazoned with two “S’s” is so unique and the bullet itself is molded in a spellbinding swirl shape that doesn’t compromise ease of application.
Both shades offer noteworthy color payoff and delicious moisture that keep lips feeling their best over the duration of wear.  The weightless velvet texture and unique hues (I don’t have dupes for either in my vast collection of lip color) make both the formula and these shades in particular illustriously worthy of pursuit.  If I had to choose just one, Petal would win my ultimate affections as its harmonious amalgamation of pink, peach, coral, cream and frost have made it a permanent fixture in my handbag…so lovely.

In the images at the end of this story, I combined the key Sisley-Paris products with some other new discoveries that have been contributors in my recent routine:
  • *Clinique Take Off the Day Micellar Water Wipes: One of the most gentle wipes I’ve encountered to date, this soft cloth has absolutely no scent and offers the refreshing benefits that come with a high-potency micellar water.  I am generally adverse to wipes but these have completely changed my mind…they instantly remove makeup and dirt (while still feeling completely gentle) and leave my skin clean and glowing.
  • *Sisley-Paris Tinted Sunscreen Cream in Golden (reviewed HERE): I adore this formula as a powerful medium coverage foundation; the SPF 30 is significant and the way it perfects my skin and lasts all day make an impressive case for this investment.
  • *Kat Burki Body Butter: Intensely hydrating with an intoxicatingly aromatic scent, this decadent souffle drenches the body in moisture, resulting in supple and bouncy skin that looks as healthy as it feels.
  • *Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse: I have been using this innovative product once or twice a week as of late to cleanse my hair of the build up that comes from using different shampoos and conditioners daily.  The real lemon releases the weight of excess product while the light gel texture smoothes the cuticle of the hair for a bouncier, shinier mane.
  • *Alterna Caviar Volume Mist: A few of spritzes of this fine mist create a voluminous situation for my heavy and long locks. Couple this formula with a hairdryer for an enviable mane that stays full all day.
