I must admit, I haven't given green lip color a proper spin since high school; in those tender and formative years, I had a mood lipstick that transformed to a blaringly hot pink and a pale mint number from MAC that was more shimmer than pigment. That being said, I may have had a reservation (or ten) when I gingerly swiped the latest release from the venerable Lipstick Queen line--Frog Prince--onto my lips. Imagine my delight when I witnessed the sheer formula slowly morph into the most beautiful, glimmering medium pink hue. Couple this wonder with the latest long- lasting eye shadow from Sisley and a fresh and whimsical post is necessitated!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of both Frog Prince and the Sisley Phyto-Eye Twists in action as well as the Bottom Line...

*Frog Prince (available at Space.NK, Barney's NY and Lipstick Queen) is a bold green bullet that amusingly reminds me of one of my favorite beverages...matcha tea. Although the formula applies sheerly (making swatching a bit of a challenge) it deepens to a "my lips but better" shade (read: decidedly NOT hot pink) over the course of a few minutes. The buttery smooth texture adds plush luminosity and hydration to the lips and the pigmentation takes on the lasting power of a stain...brilliant!

I've also been experimenting with the gorgeously versatile *Sisley Phyto-Eye Twists. The retractable liner-meets-shadow formula glides on with precision to create color, depth and a satin finish that formidably doesn't budge until removed.
I adore sweeping Bronze shade (which is more of a glimmering khaki-taupe than a warm bronze) onto my upper lid and smudging it along my lower lash line and adding a bit of the bold, deep peacock blue Lagoon shade to my lower waterline for a classic effect (as demonstrated in the images that follow).
I am floored by the crease-free lasting power of these shadow sticks...they are reminiscent of the By Terry Ombre Blackstars (reviewed HERE and HERE) but come in shades that aren't a part of the By Terry regular collection, thereby eliminating redundancy in my eyeshadow collection.

Bottom Line: If you love pink lipsticks with a twist, then Frog Prince (available at Space.NK, Barney's NY and Lipstick Queen) is for you; additionally, for one of most utilitarian and long lasting eye shadows on the market, I implore you to consider the Sisley Phyto-Eye Twists!
