A Brief Peek at My Gucci Haul: Round II

Above: Behold the splendor…Gucci order Round II!
Over the weekend, the second part of my Gucci (currently available at Neiman Marcus and Gucci.com) order arrived (part one can be viewed HERE)…two intensely pigmented eyeshadows and a pale nude lipstick.  This post is intended to be a quick peek, rather than full review…hopefully my initial swatches will be helpful for those of you still contemplating an order!
Kindly scroll on for images and the Bottom Line…
Above: Iconic gold is a luminous khaki gold and Oxydus is a bronzy brown with warm leanings.
Magnetic Color Shadow Mono in Oxydus and Iconic Gold: I ordered both shades from Gucci  (currently–through 11/16–shipping and returns are free!) because this rich coppery brown and khaki gold (seemingly two of the most effortlessly wearable tones) were back ordered at Neiman Marcus until 10/22.  I am totally smitten with the rich buttery texture of these shadows…they are pigmented, ultra-reflective and entirely heartstopping.  I will have images of these in action in the next day or two ; )
Aboev: Swatches in direct sunlight…stunning, no?
And now for a quick break from all of this Gucci goodness…some non-beauty-related images for your amusement.  We’ll call this, “random snapshots from the weekend…”
Above: Jethro finally got the best of his Chewbacca toy this weekend…he is sad.  We bought him a new one.
Above: Our drive home from church on Sunday…PCH, headed into Laguna Beach.  For better or worse, it still completely feels like summer around here!
Above: My dessert tonight…an insane combination of pumpkin and marshmellow (with Oreo cookies) ice cream from Coldstone.  Insanely good.
Above: Cipria in the “golden hour.”  It is a creamy peach nude with slightly pink leanings…so lush and lovely.
Back to business…next up, the Luxurious Lipstick in Cipria (in stock at Gucci only as of publish date).  This peachy pink nude is pale but easy to wear, extremely creamy and immensely hydrating.  I have loved combining Whisper (reviewed HERE) and Cipria for a creamy nude pink with gorgeous depth…dedicated images of this shade in action soon.  In the meanwhile, it can been seen on my lips in “Look #2” of my recent Jouer post!  Overall, I have absolutely no regrets about selecting this shade sight (and swatch!) unseen.

–Shop the Post–

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this rapid post and found its swatches helpful should you be on a Gucci Beauty (currently available at Neiman Marcus and Gucci.com) quest yourself.  As mentioned, I will feature closeups and reviews on these products in the coming days but wanted to give you another taste of their beauty since there is limited information and images available online.
How was YOUR weekend?

May the start to your week be a lovely one…xx and much more soon,

What absolutely stunning pics, and so *you* :). I love the eyeshadows. The lipstick is the same shade as your pumpkin ice cream!

Thank you…what a lovely compliment! I thought it was wild that the lipstick and ice cream looked so similar, too!

Wow – the Gucci MakeUp looks stunning! Im sold simply on the packaging – but great to see some beautiful shades in there as I have just added these to my 'to buy' list already. The eyeshadows look divine!

Isn't it just stunning? The packaging is iconic, but what a pure delight to discover that the products are so quality as well!

Hi B.P, absolutely beautiful eyeshadows. The depth & softness actually come thru your pics somehow. Cipria is just as great as I thought it would be. I'll be receiving my Penelope pink & iconic rock n kohl in brown tmrw! Yay! Sadly, I returned the magic cream today. I bought it to use as she does under wonder glow & foundation but I found it to be a bit heavy & break down my base at work. As a night cream it's ok but I'm getting remarkable results with the Peter Thomas Roth retinol night & unwrinkle night cream so I'm sticking to that. However, I love the C.T makeup. Still loving her blush n lip liner & can't wait for my delivery tmrw. Got illusion h.g tint in light beige & just love the coverage. Have a great week. Xo

I finally got the Magic Cream but this week has bene insane and I haven't had a chance to even open the box yet. Thanks for the heads up on it!

Isn't the Illusion HG Tint lovely? I am in the midst of prepping my full review ; )

      Happy almost weekend, my friend!

I want that peachy pink nude lippie. I like the idea that its creamy and very hydrating. I usually prefer lippies like that for my lips dry out easily so I must wear hydrating ones.
