Quintessential BP: What I Wear on My Face When Speaking in Front of a Live Audience

Makeup go-to's when I'm facing a live audience.
This past weekend, I hosted a master class at Nordstrom with Skin Inc. and, upon sharing a quick peek at my makeup look for the event, I was met with requests to share a comprehensive makeup breakdown of the products I used.

I would call this look "Quintessential BP" as it embodies all of my favorite beauty aesthetics...even, luminous skin, bronzed cheeks, warm burnished eyes, peachy pink lips and plenty of glow anywhere that the sun hits. Oh, and it is vital to note that this look requires virtually no touchups for 8+ hours!
The spontaneous IG Stories post that inspired this makeup breakdown.
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images as well as the Bottom Line...

THE PRODUCTS...
Skincare.
// SKINCARE // As I've said countless times, the best makeup is good skin...in turn, I prepared my canvas with an array of hydrating and glow-inducing formulations that take my skin to the next level.

Swatches of the *Vita Liberata Body Blur (reviewed HERE) and
*Tom Ford Soleil Neige Shimmering Body Oil (reviewed HERE
Base.
// BASE // A tender glow is balanced by a touch of radiance and a skin perfecting foundation that doesn't budge all day while still looking like fresh and multidimensional skin.

Swatches from bottom to top: Vita Liberata Beauty Blue Skin Tone Optimizer in Latte Light (reviewed HERE)
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter #4 (reviewed HERE)

// THE MAKEUP // When it comes to color, I prefer my skin is awash with incandescent warm neutrals and peachy pinks...this menagerie of makeup guarantees this results and wears flawlessly, even in warm and humid environments.

Class, by the way, was sold out and so much fun...thanks to those of you who came!
Post-master class.
With my baby Joey.
Holding my very favorite beauty device...the *Skin Inc. Optimizer Voyage Tri-Light++ (reviewed HERE)
// STYLE NOTES //
  • Ivory Satin Blouse: Lush and silky with a classic mock neck, this blouse is equal parts subtlety and drama.
  • Black Faux Leather Mini Skirt: I have already worn this skirt 4 times since getting it a week or two ago...it's tastefully relaxed in fit and matches everything.
  • Mephisto Lissandra Platform Wedge Sandal: If you are seeking an insanely comfortable pair of sandals with neutral stylings and a metallic flair, these Mephisto gems are a must. I wore them for 10+ hours (no break in necessary) and it seriously feels like I'm walking on clouds. Never has a new pair of shoes treated my feet so well...I will have a better view of these shoes in my next blog post so stay tuned!
Racing out of the car to check in with Skin Inc. before my master class.

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this makeup breakdown and found a glimpse into my beauty arsenal an interesting experience! I would love to know what caught your eye...do tell.

Good things ahead, including a Clé de Peau Beauté spotlight, a holiday gift guide and a host of new product procurements...cannot wait to share!

xx and more soon,
