On Location at the Kahala: Easy Ways to a Clean + Green Beauty Routine

A clean + green beauty tutorial…on location in Hawaii.
Many of you have asked me what my favorite clean and green skincare and beauty products are. While I am a fan of beauty in every categorization, I have found a lovely array of clean and green products that, due to their efficacy and performance, make for easy substitutions in one’s routine. Today’s tutorial–featuring some of my go-to clean product choices–was filmed in our suite at the absolutely gorgeous Kahala Resort during my trip to Hawaii last week (more coverage of this stunning property in my IG Stories highlight) and, as always, comes from the heart. From natural deodorant to ethereally glowing highlighters, I hope you see something that intrigues you!

A quick note…the filming was truly an on-location situation and I did my absolute best to mitigate the background noise of the ocean, a waterfall and the wind (all proper island necessities) during the editing process. Thanks for your understanding ;  )

// STYLE NOTES //
  • Billabong Play All Day Romper: Lush linen in a flattering striped pattern, this romper has pockets (!!) and a flattering fit (I’m wearing a size Medium).
  • VINCE Westport Platform Sandals: I picked these up on a whim right before my trip and am thrilled that I went with my gut; these sandals are minimalist yet interesting and abundantly comfortable. Every time I wore them in an Instagram post, I received multiple questions about who makes them and I am confident that I will be wearing these straight through summer!
