Video: A Breakdown of My 2017 Favorites

Favorites for 2017.
A new year is upon us and, in a spirit of reflection and sincere gratitude, I am excited to share a video featuring my favorites of 2017! I have the privilege of testing so many products over the course of 12 months and, consequently, I endeavored to create a balanced edit of the best that beauty and skincare have to offer. Reach for a tea and a snack and prepare for the 27 minutes of beauty talk that await…I truly hope you enjoy.
Kindly scroll on for the video, a breakdown of all products mentioned and images of them in action as well as the Bottom Line…

The following images reflect many of the discussed products in action…specifically:

Style notes.
// STYLE NOTES //
  • Free People Dock Street Top: I was instantly drawn to this floral top at Nordstrom…the delicate ruffle details and rich floral pattern are sophisticated yet entirely casual. The top, which is excellent as a winter transitional piece, runs a bit on the larger side (I am wearing a small).
  • Frame Jeans: A classic high-waisted cut with a relaxed leg is always in style,
  • Gucci Horsebit Loafers: These ended up being my Christmas present as the booties I ordered ended up being too big. I am over the moon for the comfortable 2-inch chunky heel and clean horse bit details and will be wearing these for years to come. I find they run a touch large; I wear a 7 to 7 1/2 and a 7 in this particular pair fits perfectly!

Gucci Horsebit Loafers
The Gucci Horsebit Loafers have a 2-inch heel that can be dressed up or down.
Blessings in 2018!

Good things ahead, including a fresh winter look, a host of new product procurements and some on-location features as I am headed back to Paris next week ; )  Any suggestions?
Love and blessings to you in this new year!

    Loved this video recap. The Cle de Peau foundation is my favorite foundation find to date. For me, it was totally worth the splurge. And my hair is curly, but the Miriam Quevedo works great for me, too. I’m kicking myself for not getting the Lila Palette during the Sephora sale, but I think I may treat myself to that and the Burberry blush. Praying for God’s blessing on you and your family in 2018.
    Happy New Year!

      Thanks so much for the incredible feedback, Pemberley! So glad you are enjoying the CdPB foundation (exquisite!) and Miriam Quevedo. Enjoy your Lila Palette and Burberry blush procurements when you get them…I know you'll love them!

      Much love and blessings to you in 2018,

      xx
