This Vince Bomber Jacket can be dressed up or dressed down for major versatility.
Happy Friday, lovelies! I just filmed a video tutorial and also have a couple of major brand spotlights coming up, however, since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale just launched for public access, I wanted to share a few key, still-in-stock pieces–both in the style and beauty sectors–that I’ve been reaching for frequently. For reference, my full shopping guide for the sale can be found HERE.
In the outfit above, which is rife with minimalist staples that are apropos for the entire year, I am wearing:
In addition, these Burberry sunglasses (above) have been on heavy rotation for me; the nose pads ensure that the will stay in place (slippage is always an issue for me…can anyone else relate?), even throughout a sweltering day and the nude lucite frames with a dash of Burberry plaid are clean and classic.
Finally, I have my eye on:
Frame Step Hem black Jeans: Pure onyx with a detailing at the hem, these will be invaluable once I go back to the classroom in late August. It says they run small so I will order a 25 or 26 in this particular pair!
Frame Le Original Ripped Crop Jeans: Yet another pair of black jeans, you may ask? The Le Original cut is my absolute favorite in this line (I currently own three pairs in blue denim) and to have this timeless, slightly relaxed fit in black is a no-brainer for me. I’ll order a size 25 for comfort since they’re a touch high waisted.
Equipment Dorothy Cashmere Pullover: I wear all of my Equipment cashmere sweaters frequently (I have at least 5) and this gorgeous green v-neck version will be a lovely addition to my menagerie.
Rag & Bone Matteo Heel Sandal: It’s difficult for me to resist a cut out bootie and this neutral pair are calling my name, indeed.
Joie Cotton Shirtdress: Shirtdressing works so well for work and black and white plaid perfect for fall.
Diane von Furstenberg Walking Coat: I am an admitted coat lover and yet I do not own a gray topper…this breezy and casual option just may be coming home to me.
Argento Multistrand Necklace: Glorious long necklaces are often difficult to find and this liquid metal version–in an array of alloys–will layer beautifully and match everything.
Elizabeth and James Heath Shift Dress: With a 1960s flair, this lady like confection has timeless appeal and will be lovely at a business dinner or when speaking at a conference.
Nadri Trinity Necklace: Gilded and easy to wear, this necklace is a staple jewelry piece at a great price.
Nike Gym Capris: As soon as I get home from work, I change into something comfortable and these pants will be a fantastic addition to my rotation.

// Nordstrom Beauty Suggestions // As aforementioned in my last post, there are still currently significant savings at every price point! Consequently, here are some items that are still on my to-buy list, coupled with products I already own, use and love:
Beauty Bioscience GloPRO Microneedling Set: I’ve been intrigued by the purported efficacy of micro-needling as of late and this is the perfect way to get started with increased collagen production and glowier skin.
Knowing this would be a best seller, Nordstrom seemed to be prepared with the right amount of stock of the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze, Blush and Glow Set…this makeup lover couldn’t be happier that it is still available.
Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this updated glimpse at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I would love to hear about what you’ve picked up or what is currently in your shopping cart. Do tell!
Good things ahead, including a brand spotlight and a new video tutorial…can’t wait to share!
I'm completely enjoying some recommendations you made that I recently obtained (Gucci Liza boots, Oxydus, SKII, Le Metier Longevity etc..) Wow! Thanks for making the selections fool-proof. Probably many of us ask now, "What would the Beauty Professor do?" when trying to make results-oriented beauty/fashion choices. You're also very good at finding a balance between timeless and trendy.
One item to double check – for the Chikuhodo GSN-4 brush you use for blush/powder, is this the same one they sell as a "highlighter" brush on Beautylish?
Thank you. -Kashi
p.s. like when you recommend books…am about to take a trip and will bring The Beautiful Fall for reading.

Great suggestions. I already placed 3 orders but have my eye on the treasure and bond jeans or the a.g boyfriend jeans. Xoxo
