Get Your (Warm + Bronzy) Glow On: Charlotte Tilbury #GLOWMO Exclusives at ShopSpring...

The Charlotte Tilbury #GLOMO Collection.
Happy Monday, lovelies, and greetings from Dallas...my month of travel is still in full force and should you be so inclined, follow along on Instagram for where I'm headed next!

Today the *Charlotte Tilbury #GLOWMO collection is officially available for a one-day exclusive at Shop Spring (free shipping on everything all of the time...yes, please!); featuring a lustrous trifecta to impart a warm glow that's ever so apropos for the summer, these three products will have you looking like you've just returned--well-rested, I might add--from a luxurious tropical island ever day of the week.

Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of #GLOWMO in action as well as the Bottom Line...

Designed to mimic the vim and vigor of a youthful (yet entirely sun-free) tan, the *Charlotte Tilbury #GLOWMO collection consists of the *Instant Look in a Palette Beauty Glow (also reviewed HERE), the *Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask  and the*Unisex Healthy Glow Moisturizer, which officially launches today!

*Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask  and the *Unisex Healthy Glow Moisturizer.
With subtle yet effective bronzing capabilities, the *Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask and the *Unisex Healthy Glow Moisturizer, work both in the PM and AM to catalyze the development of a personalized warm glow that walks on the golden (rather than orange) side of things.

As the name implies, when the *Overnight Bronze & Glow Mask is applied to clean skin before bed, the nourishing formula harnesses the modern power of self-tanning to encourage the creation of a subtle glow that makes skin look its absolute best. Go to bed with a pale a pallor and wake up the next day with a healthy radiance that is still restrained enough to have your friends, family and co-workers struggling to put an exact finger on your vibrant countenance.

For an instant wash of gorgeous sun kissed incandescence, the brand new and available today  *Unisex Healthy Glow Moisturizer drapes skin in a sheer and hydrating veil of hyper-natural color that can stand in for foundation or serve as an excellent primer for the makeup to come. The soft tint of this cutting-edge formula customizes on contact, adapting to the depth of the wearer's skin for those seeking an immediate boost to their natural canvas. As a companion to my typically bronze and glowy routine I, for one, will be reaching for this beguiling moisturizer all summer and beyond!

*Instant Look in a Palette--Beauty Glow edition.
I have previously praised the latest *Instant Look in a Palette in Beauty Glow (also reviewed HERE and HERE) for its flattering undertones, versatile wearability and sheer resplendence and love that its a component in the #GLOMO Collection.

The eyeshadows are finely milled with a buttery texture that stays in place without creasing. The bronzer, albeit on the paler side, can be built to a true neutral brown intensity that masterfully mimics an authentic tan and the cheek colors deliver a flush and a lit-from-within radiance that still look entirely natural on the skin,

In case my sentiments were not abundantly clear, I deem the combination of shades in this palette to be pure and effortless genius!

New Chanel Foundation on Location: Facing the Day Naturally at Lake Tahoe

Happy summer to you! Still entrenched in a full month of travels, I just returned from Lake Tahoe; despite being in a constant state of sleep deprivation (four time zones and only 4 days home since the start of June), I found the crisp air and gorgeous palette of Northern California nature reviving and inspiring!

Consequently, I couldn't help but shoot an on-location beauty story that embraces a tableau of neutral tones and, dare I say it, yet another new (to me) foundation formula.

Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches, Style Notes and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line...

Base + Face.
// BASE + FACE // An even canvas with subtle sculpting and a tender glow.
  • Chanel Sublimage Le Teint Foundation #50: I have had my eye on this formula--which launched late last year--for awhile now and many of you have asked me if I'd be reviewing it. Although it took me awhile to finally procure, I am happy to say that it was well worth the wait. Since I will only get darker as the summer progresses, I opted for shade #50 Beige, which swatches darker than it looks on my @NC 27-30 face. With buildable medium to nearly full coverage and a creamy texture that dries down to a beautiful skin finish, this is the first Chanel foundation I have loved in years. The lasting power is immense and its ability to blur imperfections while looking entirely natural on the skin is exceptional. It most closely reminds me of the La Prairie Skin Caviar at a slightly lower price point and, if you can find a match, I would highly recommend giving it a spin!
  • *Sisley-Paris Concealer #3 (reviewed HERE): I swept a dab of this warm light beige in my undereye region to feign a good night's sleep.
  • Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer SC-3 (reviewed HERE): My go-to to cover dark spots and the occasional pimple, I have used this classic formula with a Retractable Lip Brush for nearly 15 years.  The opacity of this formula covers anything and since, texturally, it is a bit dry, it does not budge until removed while being entirely kind to sensitive skin. It's an underrated gem, to be sure.
  • By Terry Sun Designer Palette #2 (reviewed HERE): I am halfway through my second palette and still have mad love for this versatile bronzer, blush and highlighter wonder. I used applied all three options with my *Surratt Beauty Artistique Cheek Brush (reviewed HERE) to gently sculpt, warm up, blush and enhance my face.
  • Tom Ford Sheer Highlighting Duo in Reflects Gilt (reviewed HERE): I recently purchased a new compact as I dropped my first one last week. Fortunately, because I reached for it constantly up to that point, it had been used enough for me to feel OK about the tragedy. For the look that follows, I swept a mix of both shades along the high points of my face and down the bridge of the nose for an incandescent glow.

Extra Essentials!
While in Tahoe, I also found myself using a great deal of my Oribe Lacquer Nail Polish in The Nude, Suqqu Refining Primer (reviewed HERE), *Vita Liberata Body Blur in Latte, Oribe Cote d'Azur Hair Refresher (forgot my perfume and this worked in a pinch!) and the *Marc Jacobs Beauty Must Have It All Makeup Brush Collection (full feature forthcoming).

A constant companion as of late...my Longchamp Le Pliage Neo Small Backpack  + *YSL leather makeup bag.
The following images reflect all products in action in afternoon sunlight...

// STYLE NOTES // For weather involving brisk air and a sun-kissed vibe, I embraced layers and a sweet pair of flat suede sandals.
  • Ragdoll LA tee shirt: I have gotten so much wear from all of my pieces from this brand...can't wait to pick up more.
  • Levi's 501 cutoffs (also available HERE): A nearly go-to now that I'm not in the classroom for the summer, the classic cut of these 501s are versatile and flattering.
  • Equipment France cashmere sweater: Cashmere in the summer? Indeed! And Equipment has a host of styles currently on sale.
  • Coclico Clidro Slide (also available HERE more sale options from the brand HERE): I picked these up on a whim and am utterly smitten. Well-constructed with super soft suede, these possess equal parts minimalist appeal and maximum comfort.
  • Longchamp Le Pliage Neo Small Backpack (also available on sale HERE and reviewed HERE): I procured this in Europe and am in love with how easy and low profile it is...money well spent!

Bottom Line: I hope you enjoyed this on-location glimpse into my Lake Tahoe makeup and style routine and, as I am sure you have gathered, I cannot say enough good things about the Chanel Sublimage Le Teint Foundation!

Would love know what caught your eye...do tell!

I am headed back to Dallas tomorrow to both present at and cover the Neiman Marcus Beauty Conclave...can't wait to share a host of beauty insider details...I'll be publishing new stories from my hotel room as much as my schedule will allow but for the most up-to-the-minute insight, don't forget to follow me on Instagram ; )

Good things ahead, including a fresh and favorite releases from Charlotte Tilbury, a couple more on-location stories from my travels in Europe and a glimpse at the new Jouer High Pigment lip glosses (launching 6/21).

xx
