Round II: Sephora VIB Sale Shopping List…New Discoveries + Old Favorites

Last week, I shared a plethora of shopping suggestions for the Sephora VIB Rouge Sale (full post HERE) and now that the Sephora VIB Sale is open to ALL VIB members (through 11/14), I am excited to offer another round of product ideas–including new discoveries and old favorites–to help you take advantage of the rare and wonderful 20% off (with code 20VIB).
It appears that many products that sold out in the initial sale are now restocked, just in time for this shopping event of the year!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action, as well as the Bottom Line…

For the sake of organization, I divided this particular shopping list into six specific beauty categories: Skin + Hair, Lips, Multi-Tasking Palettes, Surratt Beauty Spotlight, Glow-Getters and the Metallic Eye:

Skin + hair suggestions.
// SKIN + HAIR // Small but mighty, these discoveries are on heavy rotation as of late.
  • *FOREO Luna Play: This diminutive powerhouse cleanses skin without irritating and is tiny enough to to travel everywhere.
  • Burberry My Burberry Black Rollerball: Recently, my mom introduced me to this new fragrance release; we both have been long time fans of most Burberry scents and My Burberry Black is no exception.  With warm notes of amber and refreshing hints of peach, this simply smells really. good.
  • Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray (also reviewed HERE): I originally thought that Sephora carried Oribe but alas, it does not. That being said, I’ve still included this haircare gem in my post as I use it often and had to speak its praises.  It adds shine and texture to the hair in seconds the travel size is ever so convenient.
// LIPS // Three luxurious shades and finishes for a wealth of lip wardrobe options.
  • Christian Louboutin Silky Satin Lip Color in Lou Beach (3 different shades in this formula also reviewed HERE): I purchased a few of Louboutin lipsticks last year and have nearly run through two of the three! Consequently, I picked up the nectarine nude Lou Beach last week during the VIB Rouge sale and am so glad I did.  The intense opacity and face-brightening hue make this a versatile option for a spectrum of skin tones.  No regrets!
  • Tom Ford Soleil Lip Foil in Venus Rising (also reviewed HERE): Boasting a delicate medium pink metallic finish and a creamy formula that lasts for hours, Venus Rising has been getting a lot of “lip time” in my life.  Worn at the end of this post, I must say it is my favorite of the three lip foils I purchased earlier this month.
  • *Stila Stay All Day MATTE’ificent Lipstick in Mystique (formula also reviewed HERE): I’ve been wildly impressed with this particular formula as it has immense color payoff and a lush consistency that makes lips look their best.  Mystique is a LE shade that should surface online soon…in the meanwhile, consider giving the perfectly nude pink Papillion (reviewed HERE) a try.

// MULTI-TASKING PALETTES // Eyes, complexion and cheeks are under control with these utilitarian wonders.
  • *Giorgio Armani Light + Shadow Eyes and Face Palette (also reviewed HERE): This resplendent palette features ten eye shadows (five matte and five satin) in some of the pretties golden neutrals I’ve encountered to date.  The second layer offers a universal setting powder and two flesh-toned creme illuminators…extensive swatches of everything can be found HERE.
  • Tom Ford Eye + Cheek Palette in Warm (Cool Palette swatched and reviewed HERE): After picking up the cool palette earlier this month (and being wildly impressed with it, I might add), I knew I needed the Warm version as well.  Packed peachy neutral tones including a matte blush, a golden shadow, a light bronze shadow, a medium taupe-bronze shadow, a deep smoky brown shadow and a champagne ivory highlighter, this palette is a must for those who adore highly wearable warm tones. I am thrilled that this is in stock in time for the VIB sale and highly recommend splurging on two: one for yourself and one for a beauty loving kindred spirit that you love very much.

// GLOW-GETTERS // I am forever adding fresh highlighting options to my collection and love each and every one. Subtle radiance never gets old!
  • *Kevyn Aucoin The Expert Mascara in Bloodroses: One of these products is doing its own thing…yes, this is not a highlighter but this aubergine mascara that masterfully lengths and volumes lashes also brightens the face; if you have blue or green eyes, it’s especially effective.
  • *Lancome Glow Subtil Silky Creme Highlighter: Creamy yet bouncy, this gossamer veil of light leans slightly rosy for a opulent twist.
  • Stila Star Light, Star Bright Highlighting Palette: I am in love with this finely-milled trio of powder highlighters (which I picked up last week during the VIB Rouge sale).  The triad consists of a pale opalescent pink shade, a warm champagne tone and a bronzy gold hue for endless possibilities.
  • *Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation Illuminator in IL01 (also reviewed HERE): A trusted favorite, this liquid highlighter can be mixed into foundation or applied atop a base for one of the most ethereal glows available.  I am on my second bottle!

// THE METALLIC EYE // This clever Korean import is exceptional…one side is a gleaming foil cream and the other possesses weightless glitter flakes that create an insanely sparkling eye that, once set, resists creasing and fallout.  All five shades are utterly stunning, no?

Chaleur looks gorgeous on you! I just bought it yesterday after finally trying out Surratt Beauty's blushes and eyeshadows in person. As a fan of cheek products that transcend the blush-bronzer categories, I love how Chaleur is such a versatile yet natural color.
