Sunday Smiles + Layout Update

Above: Product details for this look are later in this post.
Hello, lovelies...I hope your weekend is going well.  I've been spending my time off, thus far, engaged in a serious round of photography (so many beauty posts to come) and some minor coding--as in that of the HTML variety...good times ; )

That being said,  I am excited to share that Beauty Professor has undergone a layout update!  With a more streamlined aesthetic and easy-to-navigate tabs, this new design feels fresh yet familiar and I truly hope you feel at home with the changes.

In the image above, I wearing the By Terry Light-Expert Click Brush in #05 (swatched and reviewed HERE), Tom Ford Illuminating Duo (reviewed HERE),  Chantecaille Cheek Color in Ella (reviewed HERE), Surratt Expressioniste Brow Pomade (discussed HERE), and the new Le Metier de Beaute Moisture Matte Lipstick in a combination of La Vie en Rose and L'Ete Indien (discussed HERE), a pairing that I am reaching for constantly.  I was able to swatch all 6 shades of this paradoxical formula on Saturday and will be posting images soon. Oh, and my newest choker is a souvenir from NY!

Above: I snapped this yesterday in Santa Monica...got to love December in Southern California!

Bottom Line: I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the new design...do share!

Good things ahead including an insane amount of new beauty and skincare, a couple of FOTD's and holiday gift guides galore.

Have a blessed Sunday!

xx,

  1. Hi Rachel! Love the new layout! Great pic of you, your hair is beautiful. We were in Los Angeles last week picking up our daughter and her husband for Thanksgiving and dropping them at the airport to go back home. A short visit but a fun one. The drive from our house is 3 hours and I love it as we see some of the beauty of Southern CA on the Pacific Coast Highway and 101. I love the vibrancy and the dynamics of LA. Have a wonderful Sunday!

    1. Hi Debi,

Thanks for the feedback on the layout and also for the sweet compliment! You were in LA earlier this month?! So glad you had fun. The drive along the 101 is always so breathtaking.

Hope you had a lovely Christmas...XO,

  2. I'm liking the new layout update. Your "face of the day" photo is lovely, as ever. What do you use on your hair? It's so glossy and silky looking. The Santa Monica pier. Fun memories. Hoping to pop down to LA for a few fun days between Christmas and New Years.

    1. Hi Tatiana,

Thanks so much! It was a bit scary to complete the change but I am happy with it now ; ) With regards to your question, I have an ever rotating collection of hair products (my shower caddy is always on the verge of overload!) but use Shu Uemura Art of Hair Cleansing Oil, Gloss Moderne and Oribe hair care most regularly.

Hope you are having a wonderful time in LA right now!

      xx,
