Jumpstarting My Day with Elizabeth Arden

Above: A new morning ritual.
Kindly allow me to be candid when I confess that I am not a morning person; this reality is unfortunate in light of the fact that my work responsibilities require me to wake up by 6:15 each day.  Two alarms later (perhaps fortified by a “Rach…it’s getting close to 6:30” from my husband and a quick perusal of my email to activate my brain), and I heartily stretch and roll out of bed, doing my best to command some coordination as I stumble to the bathroom to get ready for the day.  Can you relate?
Above: Morning elements as of late…mango juice, my trusty iPhone and Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster.
After a quick washing of the face, I proceed to my skin care application.  Lately, this process has been complimented by the addition of the Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster.  After describing my morning challenges, you can imagine how anything involving the concept of “boost” in the AM is intriguing to me!
Designed to boost skin’s natural defenses, this innovative formula harnesses the power of a probiotic complex to enhance hydration and skin’s ability to renew, thereby improving the look of the skin’s surface layer.  Additionally, the active ingredients actually proliferate the efficacy of other skin care products with which you choose to apply following the booster.  That is, when the skin’s surface layer is in its best condition, then it becomes more receptive to all products in the regimen by delivering stronger results, consequently boosting the potency and performance of serums and moisturizers.
Research revealed that:
  • 95% of women agree that SUPERSTART boosts the effectiveness of their skincare products.*
  • 92% of women agree that SUPERSTART helps repair the look and feel of damaged or irritated skin.**
  • 82% of women agree that SUPERSTART makes their skin more resilient and resistant to irritation and damage.**

After cleansing, I smooth one pump of the weightless gel all over my face and give it a couple of seconds to completely absorb.  Then, I follow with my moisturizer and primer of choice and finish my canvas with a dash of foundation.  I’ve noticed that my sensitive skin feels balanced and looks bright and clear and appreciate knowing that I am giving it a valiant opportunity to function at its optimum level.

Bottom Line: As aforementioned, I need all the help that I can get in the morning!  The Elizabeth Arden SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster has been a superb addition to my A.M. routine as of late, providing my skin with a much-needed head start.  Now, if only I could find a skin care product that could give me an extra hour of sleep each day…a girl can dream ; )
Good things ahead…may this week be kind to us all!
