Blues + Neutrals: A Clé de Peau Beaute Fall/Winter ’15 Look

Above: Components of the Clé de Peau Beauté Fall/Winter ’15 Collection, resplendent in the sunlight.
Happy Friday, lovelies!  I know that many places in the world are beginning to showcase signs of fall, however, Southern California is not yet one of them.  We’ve been battling sweltering, humid, 90+ degree weather for the past couple of weeks and the heat spell, unfortunately, shows no signs of slowing.  That being said, my mind is yearning for all things autumn and to satisfy said desire, I’ll be showing you how I like to wear some key products from the Clé de Peau Beauté Fall/Winter ’15 Collection.  A gorgeous fusion of blues and neutrals…fall come quickly!
Kindly scroll on for more details, swatches and images of the products in action as well as the Bottom Line…
Above: CdPB Eye Color Quad in Blue Lagoon.
First up is the Eye Color Quad in #312 Blue Lagoon…this captivating juxtoposition of deep warm bronze, charcoal-tinged indigo, vibrant peacock teal blue and icy siver blue work together to create a unique take on the traditional smoky eye.
The bronze tempers the coolness of the blue shades and the  icy silver hue makes for an excellent highlighter.  I have already lauded this eyeshadow formula HERE but in sum, the quads have a rich, buttery texture, lovely pigmentation, a resistance to creasing and a longwearing satin finish that makes them well worth the investment.
Above: The CdPB Bronzing Powder in 01.
Next is the Bronzing Powder in 01 (previously reviewed HERE)…this finely-milled powder is the perfect tan for the fall and winter months.  It effortlessly warms up the face in a few strokes and has enough depth to be effectively used for light contouring.  I love swirling both shades together for a custom glow.

Above: The CdPB Powder Blush Duo in 105.
To finish off the complexion, I must address the Clé de Peau Beaute Powder Blush Duo in 105 Blown Rose; this stunning blush cheek color pairing features two shades of warm nude rose to mix and blend as per one’s taste.
I concentrate the darker shade on the apples of my cheeks and sweep the lighter shade along the upper perimeter of my cheekbones for a multi-dimensional, slightly highlighted look.  This formula instantly melds with the skin for a natural, lit from within effect…pure delight!

Above: CdPB Rum and Raisin is a creamy, rose-tinged nude beige.
Finally, the Enriched Lip Luminizer in Rum and Raisin (#232) completes the look.  This lavish lip treatment-meets-color-saturated-wonder feels divine to apply.  The formula glides onto the lips with just enough slip for comfort, while not having too much movement as to compromise lasting power.  Rum and Raisin is a creamy, slightly shiny, demure rosy nude beige that, I daresay, will be universally flattering for a spectrum of skin tones.  Additionally, my perenially dry lips are beyond joyous when veiled in this luxurious salve.  I simply cannot say enough good things about this lip color and look forward to sharing the other shades I have in this marvelous formula!
Above: The Enriched Lip Luminizer formula has an incredibly silky feel, buildable medium coverage, lush color payoff and exceptional moisturizing powers.

Rachel, you look stunning! Coming back from rainy Seattle to Southern California today. Fabulous fall clothes & makeup in the stores. I was tempted and picked up a few things. That necklace is perfect for your style. Might have to give the lipstick a try. Great post, as always!
