Rose Gold Glow: Topshop Beauty & Style…My Personal Interpretation

Above: Celebrating Topshop 5 Years of Beauty…the LE gold and white packaging is so chic.

Warm weather, beaming sunshine and a fresh approach to casual, carefree beauty collectively signal the arrival of the Topshop Summer of Love and 5 Years of Beauty campaigns.

As a longtime customer of the brand (reviews HERE, HERE and HERE…one simply cannot beat the modern, streamlined basics of the line for work!), I am delighted to have partnered with Topshop to feature my personal interpretation of both campaigns!

Kindly scroll on for featuring my picks from the beauty and style realms of this iconic British brand…

Above: A stellar beauty lineup…champagne, rose gold, coral, nude and pink…so classically flattering.
I have been intrigued with Topshop beauty since its launch and cannot believe this colorfully curated line is now celebrating its 5th birthday…where does the time go?  For this feature, I focused on products that possess shades and textures work well in the summertime months…welcome to Rose Gold Glow!

*Topshop 5 Years of Beauty Glow Pot in Polished…equal parts gleam and glow, this emollient cream can be placed on the high points of the face (e.g., the upper cheekbones, brow bones, down the bridge of the nose and Cupid’s bow) for a delicate highlight that translates as “radiance from within.” It looks glowing, rather than greasy, and infuses new life into one’s complexion in five seconds flat!

*Topshop Chameleon Glow in Shuffle the Cards…I can safely say that I do not have a duplicate shade of this intriguing eye shadow in my collection! Sheer but buildable, this two-toned shade shifts from bright gold to warm rose gold, depending on the light.  The luminosity is off the charts and its ultra-light, gossamer finish ensures that fall out and creasing will not be an issue.

*Topshop 5 Years of Beauty Lips in Ohh La La…this creamy mid-toned coral is bright enough to make a statement while having just the right amount of softness to make lips look lush and full.

*Topshop 5 Years of Beauty Lips in Nevada…I am very impressed by how pigmented the Topshop LIPS lipstick formula is; Nevada is a fleshy pale beige that works well to create a muted lip look.  In the photos that follow, I combined Ohh La La with Nevada for the quintessential peachy pink nude tone.

*Topshop Cream Blush in Head Over Heels…this highly-rated, beautiful blush offers a peony-toned flush and has a shimmer-free finish that looks so natural on the skin.  I love to pat this on the apples of my cheeks for a “just-pinched” effect.

Above: The Webster Lace-Up Wedge Sandals…on-trend and wildly comfortable.

In terms of style, I selected the:

WEBSTER Lace-Up Wedge Sandals…a glorious fusion of both the gladiator trend and platform craze, these shoes are so very comfortable and look amazing with skirts and denim alike.  The suede is soft and because the platform sole has absolutely no grade, your feet feel comfortable, even after hours of wear…so glad I picked these up as I know they will be a summertime staple.

Cord Button Through A-Line Skirt…I owned a skirt like this in high school and often wish I hadn’t given it away.  This corduroy gem has a flattering high waist and darling buttons down the center that are reminiscent of the best of 1960’s Mod dressing.  As a side note, it runs a bit on the smaller side…I generally wear a size 0 or 2 but take a size 4 in this style!

Whether your tastes run clean and classic like the pieces above and below or more eclectic, with a focus on fringe and crochet, you are sure to find a Topshop style that calls your name!

Bottom Line:  I hope you enjoyed my take on the Topshop Summer of Love and 5 Years of Beauty campaigns and would love to know what some of YOUR favorites from Topshop are.  Since working on this piece, the I’ve worn the WEBSTER Lace-Up Wedge Sandals countless times and Ohh La La has earned a rather permanent place in my handbag!
Good things ahead, including a Skincare Round II post, a fresh beauty + style FOTD, a travel feature and new product procurements aplenty.  In the midst of travel still (but typing this on my flight home…isn’t technology incredible?!) and working through your lovely comments and email.  Thank for your patience!
Have a marvelous remainder of the week…xx,
