My request is to suggest what you would buy if you could only spend over $100 on one product. Which splurge would you recommend? I can't afford to buy a lot of high end products but I would be able to treat myself to something really special and luxurious. Thanks!

Did you leave the Koh Gen Doh Spa Water off your permanent list? I just started using it myself and it is a lovely way to start the morning routine 🙂

That is a great catch…thank you so much for your observation. I know I pictured it but now added the details to the post…it is still my daily cleanser and I don't know what I would do without it! So glad you are loving it as well!

Happy New Year, BP! I hope it was lovely.

I am here to echo the raves for the By Terry concealer. I ordered a shade, sight unseen, thanks to your swatches and also thanks to your reply to a reader in the comments section with my similar skin tone. The match is spot on and and I cannot stop using it! Initially I balked at the price, so I truly appreciate your detailed and accurate posts.

I ordered from beauty.com and was even able to procure it for 20% off, which definitely took a bit of the sting out! Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for your posts.

Oh, one more thing I forgot to include in my last comment-

How would you compare Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow to the Koh Gen Do Illuminator? I really enjoy using the KGD, but I'm interested in CT as well. Is it justified to own both/do you have a preference?

With regards to your question, I find that the Wonderglow is a touch less pigmented–more of a translucent sheen–than the Koh Gen Do, which leans a bit beige/rose gold. I love mixing the Wonderglow into foundation and find that both work well…overall, Wonderglow may be a bit more subtle.

      Hope that helps!

Thank you for this video. You have mentioned how intense the editing experience is so a long video must be super time consuming! I absolutely love the monthly review format of this video and the addition of your timeless classics. I think the clarity of your skin is a testament to how excellent these products are. I imagine your natural canvas is undeniably amazing as well.
I am still heartbroken with LMdB PV in shade 1 which appears to be discontinued. I have written to many stores and they all tell me it is no longer available. NM has is it in indefinite back order. I think I will get the by Terry concealer and the LMdB illuminating pen right now! My favorite discoveries of the year are just a bare few since my skin has been horrendous and everything I tried just made it worse, including all favorites. Some new additions are Verso retinol 8 face cream, Koh Gen Do oriental plant essence, Ilia lip conditioner, TF Foundation (thanks to you), de Mamiel body oil, Bruno Acampora's Musc, Serge Lutens' L'orpheline, Serge Lutens' Ambre Sultan, LM Parfums Ambre Muscadin and Black Oud, Ramon Monegal Ambra di luna, among other perfumes, Its a 10 leave in conditioner, and your blog which I also discovered in 2014 and I visit daily now.
    Happy 2015 BP.

Hello and thank you so much for watching! I so appreciate your kind words about my skin…definitely the culmination of lots of skincare and good lighting ; )

That is horrible news about the Peau Vierge #1…I just texted my LMdB contact to see if she has any insight and will let you know what I find out…feel free to email me directly and I can forward you her response!

Thanks for sharing your favorites for the year…there are many that I am now inspired to look into. So glad we've been able to connect here at Beauty Professor.

Much love to you, my friend!

How would you compare the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow to Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base? I am looking for a product to add to my foundation to give me a lovely glow. I was leaning towards the Burberry product, but your reviews of Wonderglow has me interested.

To chime in..I just purchased the Burberry (nude radiance) and it is nice and comfortable on the skin. It seems to get *glowing* reviews (sorry, couldn't help it:) so I bought it and don't really have any complaints. But I find that if you just take a little and put it all over your face, it really is almost too glowy (even though it is truly subtle sheen–no chunky glitter–just sheen like a nice highlighter gives.) You need to use a light hand and almost seems like using it very specifically-like liquid highlighter (such as Becca shimmering skin perfector) might even be best. (I am trying it that way tomorrow.)

I don't know how old you are and what type of foundation you want to add it to but I feel it needs to be a matte foundation that needs amping up as otherwise, it is a lot for mature skin and almost seems aging (even though I don't have a lot of wrinkles and sagging.) I think you just need to use a light hand and definitely try to get a sample and play with it. Also, the bottle should last a lifetime! It takes so little and it is a lot of product but it is pricey. Personally, I would have loved if they made it in smaller bottles for less $. I like to change things up too much so feel like it isn't a good value for me.
BTW, I've tried both colors, nude is everyday and the other (bronze) is definitely summer time glowy. A little much for my fair-medium skintone but would be fab if I liked a tan:) HTH!
