Hi, It's Lynne from NYC! Took a few moments of coffee and sunshine in summertime this morning to watch this video. I absolutely agree, the NARS shadows are so rich and beautiful, heavily pigmented and need no primer. They take me back to the days when I wore NARS 'Ashes to Ashes' everyday over a decade ago!! The Himalia wears similarly and beautifully to my beloved Trish McEvoy shadow stick in Topaz – my daily go-to alone or as a first layer. When I wear it alone I get stopped all the time. It is perfection. Am looking forward to trying the Napoleon mask. Lately I am into products that show immediate and dramatic results for the complexion. (I figure if you are going to spend the money…) I have been loving the Eve Lom Moisture Mask. I use it at night a few times a week, take it off – and WOW – I've never seen my skin look so good. Magic in a jar! Thanks for your videos, always so informative – xxx, lynne

      Hello Lynne!

Good to hear from you…I just emailed you back today ; ) I hope you are feeling marvelous and enjoying the warmth of summer. Thank you for your feedback on the NARS shadows…they are so wonderful and I am glad that they are living up to the hype. I never tried the Trish McEvoy shadow stick but it sounds lovely. Will have to track it down! If you are enthralled with masks with immediate results, than the Napoleon formula is just for you…truly, immediately glowing skin following removal…I love it! Glad to hear that the Eve Lom Moisture Mask is equally good.

Thanks for kind words…xoxo and talk soon,

Do you prefer Mauve de Swann to Let them eat cake? If can't compare for whatever reason, could you differentiate?

    Tx so much–great blog.

Ahh…that's a tough one! The Mauve de Swann is much more subtle (cream finish, needs to be built up for opacity and no shimmer) than Let Them Eat Cake (shimmer finish, darker in tone and reaches full opacity in two coats). Although they both have lilac purple tones, they are very different on the lips…if you want a very subtle look, the Mauve de Swann is the way to go. If you are looking for color payoff, then I suggest Let Them Eat Cake!

      xx and hope that helps,

      Hi Lovely,
Great video I really enjoyed watching it.
Mauve de swann is an absolutely amazing colour.
I have a tangle teezer style brush from the Macadamia Oil brand and I just love it, I use it to brush my girls hair, and find it gets the knots out with a few less tears.

I have been going to try the John Frieda glaze but have never gotten round to it. Have you tried the Frederic fekkai glaze?

I look forward to watching more of your videos

      Take care & talk soon

      Hello dear Julie!

So glad you enjoyed the video…thank you for watching it! Despite the hefty price tag, I have no regrets about picking up Mauve de Swann…it is so unique! Isn't the Tangle Teezer the best? I truly don't know what I ever did without it!

I haven't tried the Fekkai glaze but may look into that next, once I finish the Frieda glaze.

Have a beautiful remainder of the week and talk soon…xx,
