Well-Rested and Refreshed with Olay Fresh Effects {Dew Over}

Above: Olay Fresh Effects {Dew Over} offers beauty in an instant
During the warmer spring and summer months, my skin contends with two challenges on a regular basis: a lack of sleep (always an issue due to my insanely busy schedule) and an extremely warm environment (my classroom has no air conditioning!)  Consequently, I am always in search of skincare products that help me to feign a rested look and maintain a refreshed complexion, even after the temperatures rise.
Above: {Dew Over} skillfully addresses two of my warm weather skin issues…fatigue and heat
Lately, the lightweight, moisturizing goodness of the Olay Fresh Effects {Dew Over} has been the perfect solution for my springtime skin concerns.  Non-comedogenic and oil-free, this honeysuckle and white tea-infused gel instantly absorbs into my skin upon application, providing interminable hydration that takes me through my long, warm teaching days with ease!
Above: The full ingredients list…delightfully short and sweet.
Above: {Dew Over} is both a cooling gel and lush moisturizer.
On scorching days when I need to look more rested than I actually am, I apply a nickle-sized amount of {Dew Over} all over my face upon cleansing.  The lively citrus scent awakens my senses and the cooling, non-greasy gel absorbs upon contact, creating a perfectly balanced canvas for primer and foundation.  When I need “extra-reinforcements,” I love to pat a touch of the moisturizer (I keep a small travel pot of it in my makeup bag) around my orbital area and across my cheekbones for a refreshed and restrained glow that both feels and looks naturally fantastic.  Hydration + revitalization in a single, highly-affordable product?  It does indeed exist!
Above: I adore how quickly{Dew Over} melts into the skin.
Above: Still fresh and balanced after nine hours of air-travel across the country…the heat of my recent trip to Dallas doesn’t stand a chance against Olay’s Dew Over!
Bottom Line: I am loving the Olay Fresh Effects {Dew Over} as a lightweight warm weather moisturizer.  Applied in the morning, this sensitive skin-friendly gel offers a “no sleep required” freshness that lasts for hours; a few pats on my skin by evening and my face is revitalized and glowing, ready to take on the rest of my teaching responsibilities with renewed vitality!  The 95 degree weather we currently are experiencing in Southern California (by the beach, no less!) is causing me to be more thankful than ever for the wondrous powers of {Dew Over}.  After a sweltering day in my classroom, I just used a bit more for my “late-afternoon” refresh ;  )

    Hello dearest B.P,

How wonderful that you've found your HG drugstore moisturizer for summer and at such a wallet friendly price at that. I must say I enjoyed taking a peek at some of your go-to products of the moment (they always give me inspiration), and assist to beautifully inform my ever growing wish list! The Napoleon Perdis matte black liner looks really modern on you, whilst also been both subtle and eye-catching- I love it!

I hope that you continue to enjoy the glorious weather over there (so jealous) and that the week ahead offers a good balance of work and play. Unfortunately for me the coming week will involve significant overtime and lots of boring house stuff to catch up on. To mitigate this I will indulge in extra canoodling with my kitty (Lucy loves kisses and pats) in addition to keeping up with my favorite beauty bloggers! Can't wait to read more of your reviews!

Sending a big hug and talk soon, Karen xoxo

      Hello dear Karen!

Happy weekend to you ; ) Extra cuddles with Lucy? Sounds divine! I, too, am looking forward to a peaceful weekend at home. After an inordinate amount of travel, coupled with long work hours and an intense Southern CA heatwave (90+ degrees…at the beach!), I am ready for some much-need time in my living room ; )

Thanks for your words about my posts…I think you'd love the Napoleon Matte Eye Ink…so wearable and long lasting!

Have a beautiful Sunday, my friend, and talk soon…xoxo,

      Hi Sherry!

Yes, your lovely city of Dallas was incredible…everyone was so kind and helpful…just beautiful! We had amazing weather and in addition to exploring downtown (my mom and I stayed at the Joule), we also visited the Northpark Mall and Highland Village which were extraordinary shopping destinations!

Thank you for your generous words and support…I am honored to be a blog that you enjoy ; )

xoxo and have blessed weekend as well!
