From the Runway to the Realway: NYFW Essentials from Acuvue, Neova and no!no!New York Fashion Week Essentials from Acuvue, Neova and no!no!

Above: Runway to realway essentials...Acuvue Oasys contact lenses, Neova Serious Glypeel mask and no!no! Pro3.
New York Fashion Week officially commenced today and as models hit the catwalk for a veritably endless array of strutting, one may be compelled to question the secrets of their seemingly perfect visages.  The good news is that many of the key products they use to become runway ready are equally available to the rest of us!  From the runway to the realway, here are three model beauty essentials to enhance our faces, increase our glow and guarantee smooth, radiant skin from head to toe!
Above: Acuvue Oasys contacts deliver formidable, moisture-rich vision correction...I change my disposables every two weeks.
Acuvue Oasys contact lenses have been my best friend for years.  As someone who cannot see the "Big E," my reliance on vision care is undeniable.  While glasses are a great option, they can often obscure creative eye makeup choices and impede peripheral vision (anyone with poor eyesight who tries to change lanes while wearing glasses knows the pain of this!).  Contacts are so liberating, providing the most unmitigated vision and the freedom to try every new runway-inspired eye look under the sun.  The Acuvue Oasys are fantastic for those who fear the dryness associated with traditional contact lens wear...infused with both Hydraclear Plus technology (which significantly increases and maintains the moisture level in the eye) and the ability to block over 96% of UV-A and 99% of UV-B radiation, these lenses are the optimum choice for those who want to correct their vision in an instantly comfortable way.  I truly don't know where I'd be without them!
Above: The Neova Serious Glypeel Peel-Off Mask retails for $56 and delivers immaculate results.
The Neova Serious Glypeel (Peel-Off Mask), as the name would imply, is not playing any games.  Designed to reveal a model-worthy glow, this formula harnesses the power of potent glycolic gel and calming sodium hyaluronate which work in tandem to re-texturize and brighten skin while simultaneously reducing fine lines, wrinkles and pore size.

I experienced tangible results with a single application...one 20-minute session and my skin was positively glowing, all the while feeling balanced and replenished (in contrast to the tight, sensitive feeling that can often accompany an ultra-effective facial treatment).  This is a "must-have" for anyone seeking enviably smooth, youthful, radiant skin and I am excited to chart continued progress with my twice-weekly sessions.

Above: The no!no! PRO3 in turquoise retails for $290 and includes two tips, a charger and convenient travel case.
Finally, the no!no! PRO3 (shown in turquoise) is a revolutionary device for immediate hair removal with long term results that reflect the baby-smooth limbs of most runway models.  Unlike shaving, waxing or electrolysis (all which can be time-consuming, uncomfortable, expensive, potentially ineffective and can even lend to regrowth of thicker and darker hair), the Thermicon technology behind the no!no! uses heat to painlessly crystallize unwanted hair, leaving silky smooth skin in its wake.

Above: The no!no! PRO offers two tips for use on different areas on the body.
It is completely safe for use on legs, arms, the face (I'm currently loving its effect on my upper lip area), bikini line and even the delicate area between the eyebrows.  The no!no! Pro3 comes with two differently-sized tips to accommodate both the larger areas (like the legs and arms) and more diminutive, precise zones including the face.  In contrast to other depilatory options, I have found this to be relaxing and completely painless and, even though it uses the power of heat, the skin does not ever feel "hot" during the treatments.  Additionally, using this on my legs two to three times a week and once a week on my upper lip has resulted in the smoothest skin in town, akin to the closest shave in existence.
Above: A closeup of the no!no! PRO3 tip...it effortlessly glides over the skin, instantly removing hair and resulting in ultimate smoothness.
The best part is that in between four to six weeks, clinical trials report that most no!no! PRO3 users experience their unwanted hair growing back much thinner and less prominent, thereby reducing the need for regular sessions and relegating treatments to once or twice a month.  Not just for women, my husband is even open to start trying the no!no! on his upper neckline and (gasp!) back area.  With summer just over four months away, now is the perfect time for regular no!no! sessions...my personal goal is low-maintenance, excruciatingly smooth legs for the warmer season.

Bottom Line: As New York Fashion Week reminds us, models must be free of glasses, facial dullness and unwanted hair for their jobs on the runway, however, it is encouraging to know that such qualities are not exclusively reserved for those in this rare profession.  While the rest of us are strategically navigating our responsibilities at the office, living room, mall, museum, grocery store, classroom and the like, it's fabulous to note that we, too, can do so glasses-free, glowing and smooth, skillfully strutting down the realway of life.

**PR samples provided for review,  however,  as always,  all of my opinions are expressly and unequivocally my own.

    1. Yes it will, Erin! Unlike electrolisis, which is better on light hair and skin, the no!no! works on all hair colors and skin tones ; )
