Happy Thanksgiving!

As we come together today with family and friends, let us be thankful for the many blessings we have been given and mindful of their purpose in our lives. I am truly thankful for my husband, mom, dad brother, dear friend Wendy and, of course, Jethro…their endless love and support reflect God’s heart and I don’t know what I’d do without them.
Above (clockwise from top left): My mom, my brother, Wendy, my parents, my husband and Jethro.
I am also deeply thankful for the opportunity to maintain this blog…you, dear readers, add so much with your consistent comments, feedback and encouragement and make the time and energy I spend on BP utterly worthwhile. Thank you for your friendship, indeed!  What are you thankful for?  Please share!
Happy Thanksgiving!
From my heart…xoxo,

P.S. Good things coming up on the blog including a holiday shopping guide and Black Friday recap!

    Hello dearest B.P,

Thank you for reminding us of the importance of being grateful and thankful for the many opportunities and blessings that are provided to us. I firmly believe that external acknowledgements are an integral way of demonstrating to others just how much we care, and of recognizing their inherent meaning in our lives. So here are the people that I would like to give testament to…
    – My wonderful husband who accepts me for who I am and goes out of his way to support me in the little things (such as picking up items in stores), and in bigger things (such as driving a long way away to pick up a journal article).
    – For my parents who have provided a wonderful example of what being in service to others looks like, and have always demonstrated true forgiveness and unselfishness. They do a lot of volunteer work and are always happy to help other people out in practical ways.
    – For my beautiful friend Johana who epitomizes what it means to be humble, and exhibits true loyalty and thoughtfulness for others Her support has being invaluable in assisting me during difficult times at work and with study.
    – For my lovely mother-in-law who provides a wonderful example of someone that has weathered hardship with absolute grace and faith. She is someone who I would love to aspire to be and has taught me so much about the importance of forgiveness and being genuine.
    – For my cat Lucy who is a cheeky girl but who I would never be without. Her gentleness and soft fur provide a welcome relief from the stresses of work, and other day-to-day dramas!
And of course for you too B.P and all the time, dedication and effort that you put into providing an informative and interesting blog. I especially appreciate that you take the time to reply to all your followers, and that you privilege engaging in meaningful communication with your readership!

Sending you a big hello and hug, Karen xo
