Neiman Marcus + Beauty Professor Beauty Event Recap!

Above: The event details.
Two weeks ago (how time flies!), I had the unique and exciting privilege to partner with Neiman Marcus Fashion Island (in Newport Beach, CA) and InStyle magazine to host a special beauty event.  The late morning fete featured a round of interviews with beauty experts from lines I adore, a gorgeous brunch, a super fun InStyle photo booth and a thrilling drawing for covetable gift boxes from Kanebo Sensai, Tom Ford and Le Metier de Beaute!
Kindly scroll on for a pictorial and video recap of the event…

As aforementioned, the presentation featured some of my favorite Neiman Marcus skincare and beauty products from Kanebo Sensai, Tom Ford Beauty and Le Metier de Beaute.  Additionally, I had the distinct honor to interview specialists from all three lines (better witnessed in the video, found later in this post).
Here are the product and specialist details (with their respective links within my blog):

Kanebo Sensai (Kimberly Nguyen, Kanebo Sensai Expert):

Tom Ford (Greg Velasquez, Tom Ford Beauty Makeup Artist)
4. Nude Vanille lip color

Le Metier de Beaute (Mikey Castillo, LMdB Director of Color)
4. Fall 2013 releases including the Carnaby Street Kaleidoscope and Peau Vierge POWDER (review on both products soon!)

Bottom Line:  The Neiman Marcus + Beauty Professor beauty event was such a joy to host…from the enthusiastic audience and intellectually stimulating interviews, to the stunning surroundings and cadre of high-end beauty options at every turn, I cannot think of a more pleasurable place for a beauty lover to spend their time.  As a NM Beauty Ambassador, I look forward to partnering with Neiman Marcus again in the future…if this event was any indication of the fun to be had at future fetes, I am confident that the best is yet to come!

    Hello dearest B.P,

I find myself repeating this time and time again, however it is as true now as it was in the beginning… thank you for the fantastic post! Thanks also for providing those who live on different continents with the opportunity to be a part of the event (even from afar) via your detailed photos and video, which allow us to relish in the knowledge of these beauty experts. Please know that I would have loved to have being there with pom poms cheering you on, and salivating over the products and exciting new developments. Congratulations on such a wonderful and successful event, I am sure there will be many more to come:).

I was shocked and sorry to hear about your brother however I am thankful that he was okay which is a blessing. Hopefully he is recovering more each day and doing really well. Inspired by your videos and reviews I recently purchased the Le Metier de Beaute classic foundation (in 4 shade selected from your detailed review and swatches) as well as the cream blush in coral nymph and mystique. Both of these shades look a-m-a-z-i-n-g and I am excited to try all products. This is only the second time I have purchased foundation on-line as I often have difficulty obtaining the correct shade match due to the pinkness on my face. From the neck down I am very yellow however my face is quite pink and neutral so the colour that best matches my body, often doesn't look immediately right when swatched on my face, until my whole face is covered and blended in. Fingers crossed that number 4 will be correct, I am equivalent to an NC20.

Dearest B.P, wishing you a wonderful rest of the week and look forward to chatting soon 🙂 xo

    Hello Karen,

Thank you for your thoughtful and kind comment! I've been traveling quite a bit lately and my ability to field comments has been a bit challenged as a result ; )

Your encouragement and support of my blog is a true blessing and I sincerely appreciate all of your steadfast interaction with my endeavors! It is readers like you that make my efforts gratifying and worthwhile.

My brother is doing much better, thank the Lord, and we are all so blessed to have him healed with no lasting repercussions from the accident. Congrats on your latest LMdB purchases…I think you will find a good color match in #4 and one simply cannot go wrong with Coral Nymph…it is the perfect subtle pop of color year round!

I hope your week is going well and look forward to chatting soon…xoxo, dear friend!
