Can't wait to read your blogpost about YSL Youth Liberator Serum Foundation. I bought mine in B10 on Tuesday 20th August the day before it went for sale officially here in the House of Fraser. I have the Youth Liberator Serum too, as well as its "sister" Light Creator Serum. I would love to hear your views. I am a bit of a "YSL girl" although selectively: a couple of YSL moisturisers sneakily contain MO – how dare they?!! You just cannot trust anyone these days! Lots of love xxx

        Hello Julia,

Wonderful to hear from you! I am so happy to hear that you already picked up the YSL foundation. Are you loving it?? The finish is beautiful and the lasting power, decent. I still haven't found the perfect match for my current skin tone so I may wait until I lighten up a bit more before committing to a bottle ; )

Hope your week is going well, lovely!!

        xoxo and talk soon,

Dear Rachel, the perfect match of B10 is what made me rush out and buy this foundation. B10 is literally my skintone in a bottle. I have havily relied on Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation since last October for its perfect B10 shade even though it has a lighter coverage than the new serum foundation. A buildable medium coverage here is much appreciated. I still need to use a creamy concealer on top to obliterate my dark patches, which 'luckily' are very symmetrical… I find the new foundation sufficiently longlasting if worn over YSL Light Creator Serum. I touch up without adding more foundation but by only blending any tiny creases with a good soft concealer brush.
On a separate note, when I wear sunglasses or large beautiful TF spectacles, every time I laugh or even smile, my the tops of my cheeks touch the bottoms of the spectacles/sunglasses and mess up my carefully placed concealer (on the dark patches). I wish there was a magic way to turn my makeup in those two areas indelible! Have you experienced those pesky smudges, Rachel? Do they bother you?
        Love xxx

        Hello Julia,

I am so glad that B10 is working for you! Thanks for the detailed feedback on your experience1

I know that you mean about the sunglasses/makeup smudging issue…it is such a pain! Do you set your concealer with powder? On particularly warm days, I make sure to use my beloved Le Metier de Beaute Eye Brightening and Setting powder anywhere I've applied concealer to keep things in place. It's not a perfect solution, but it does help!

        xoxo and talk soon!
