10 Minute Summer Face Video Tutorial

Late last week, I shared a FOTD post featuring products I embrace for summertime weather…here is quick video tutorial for said look, truly achieved in no more than 10 minutes.  All product reviews/links can be found in the ORIGINAL POST!

I filmed it in my hotel bathroom, so I apologize in advance for the less than ideal lighting and angles…it’s definitely authentic ; )

I am currently working on posts/videos for Dior Airflash #201, a Youngblood foundation demonstration, Rachel K CC Cream and Mineral Powders, some exciting product discoveries and a collection of favorite lip colors for the season…do keep your eyes peeled, please keep in touch and have a wonderful week!

Hi B.P, what a great video & I applaud you on the fast but perfect application of your hot weather favs. So at this point I wanted to update you. Yesterday I called for samples at the neiman in Beverly Hills. They said an associate would get back to me but did not. 🙁 So anxious as I am to try the kanebo, I called again. Again the Kanebo specialist was not there so I asked if anyone could please send me samples of nat. & warm beige. She took my address but it may take awhile to get here in R.I! Unfortunatley thats what happened when I ordered the LMdB classic. When the samples finally arrived, 1 was a bit messy. Hoping this comes sooner & in better condition. You look beautiful & your skin is glowing ! Have a wonderful week. I'll have to try your recommendations with the weather here being 97 degrees today. Have a great week and THANK YOU!

Thanks ever so much, Lynn…the video was less polished than I prefer, but it was definitely real life ; ) I appreciate the update (but wish, for your sake, that it was better news…like, immediate overnight delivery of the samples!). I didn't get a call back from my contact at Fashion Island yesterday, either, so I am going to call again today and see what I can find out. 97 degrees…that's hot! Especially with humidity! I hope you are surrounded by air conditioning ; ) Have a beautiful rest of the week and talk soon.

    you looks absolutely stunning !
Do you think the foundation will work with normal to combo skin ? I dont like an overly matte finish .

Oh my…thank you so much, Lipstick Boulevards! Yes, I do think the Kanebo foundation will work well with normal to combo skin (that is my skin type as well). It has great coverage and a believable, dewy finish that just looks like really good skin! Highly recommended if you can get your hands on it.

Love your video! 🙂 The Rachel K CC Cream looks really good. I must try and look out for it when I'm in Hong Kong this summer. I bought the By Terry Ombre blackstar in Bronze Moon after watching your other tutorial and have loved it so much. I use it almost every day. I like how silky and creamy it is and like you said it's so long-lasting.

Thank you so much!! I highly recommend the Rachel K CC Cream…such a nice surprise in terms of texture and performance! So glad that you love Bronze Moon as much as I do…once you start using it, it is difficult to stop, no? Because it is so easy and lasts forever, I could seriously use it daily and probably not miss my other eye makeup (except for a classic black liquid line from time to time!).

Have a lovely rest of the week…xoxo,

I loved this real time tutorial Rachel! Thanks for that.
Now, on the top of LMdB peau vierge, you made me want the Rachel K CC cream, but might be difficult to get hold of it from the UK.
I absolutely love By Terry bronze moon, so beautiful, easy to aplly and stays put all day!

Thanks, Bianca…I was shooting for complete realism and am glad you enjoyed it! The Rachel K CC cream can be purchased off of the Rachel K Cosmetics and I am fairly sure that there is free international shipping…hope that helps! Happy to encounter another By Terry Bronze Moon lover…such a fantastic shade and effortless product!

      xoxo and talk soon,
