My Current Skincare Routine…Video and Product Breakdown

Lately, I have had a few requests regarding a detailed overview of my current skincare routine.  In the past few months, I’ve really pared down my process to target my areas of need (e.g., anti-aging, fading of sun damage, sensitivity) without inundating my skin with a superfluous amount of products!

Product Breakdown:

1. Koh Gen Do Spa Water

2. SPONGE Ladi Avokanto Oil

3. Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge #2 (can be purchased HERE)

4. Koh Gen Do UV Care Milk SPF 30

5. Hello Sunshine Universal Fluid SPF 29

6. Sunday Riley Good Genes  (can be purchased HERE)

7. Le Metier de Beaute Peau Vierge Dark Spot Corrector  (can be purchased HERE)

8. RoC Retinol Night Cream and Eye Cream for Sensitive Skin

I hope you enjoyed the video…what are some skincare products with which you are currently finding success?

Hello and Happy Spring! Unfortunatly where I live up north we are duefor more snow! 🙁 Had some bad luck with the By Terry foundation. Ordered the sheer in #4 and cover in #5. Both too light. Was thinking of goin to #8 as it's a beige. I am warm but too yellow doesnt work. The aucoin sse #6was way too yellow. What do u think? Also do u think the Giorgio armani lift will give more radiance than maestro. It says it in the descr. Love the "glow"

      Hello Lynn,

Happy spring to you as well!! Perhaps the #8 would be better…especially with summer around the corner. I haven't personally had a problem with the KA #6 being to yellow, but I have light olive skin so the yellow (versus peach or orange) seems to work best. You may be able to mix a bit of the #6 in with your #8 By Terry to lighten things up if you need to. With regards to your question about the GA Mastro vs. Lift, I find the radiance to be about the same. The lift is a bit more opaque in nature and adopts a glowy sheen over time and the Maestro is very light (in terms of texture) and gets luminous after a few hours. It will depend on if you prefer more coverage (GA Lift…medium to medium-full) or a super light texture and a bit less coverage (GA Maestro…light to medium coverage).

Hope that helps…take care and xo,

You have great skin! Thanks for this video. I will have to check out the KGD UV, didn't know they made a sunscreen product. As usual, your posts and videos are a wealth of useful beauty info. Echoing Ms. DeCarlo: Happy Spring, though it's still below freezing here in Chicago!

Thank you so much…that is a fantastically kind compliment, She's Chic! Yes…you must take a peek at the KGD UV; it is one of my favorite discoveries of the past 6 months and it puts my mind at ease that it is purely physical.

I hope that springtime makes an appearance in Chicago in the VERY near future ; )

      Enjoy the weekend…xoxo,

This was great – wish they had LMdB in Canada! Do you happen to know what percentage of lactic acid is in Good Genes? I'm curious to know as I feel that will help dictate how often I should use it. Thanks!

Thank you!! It is so strange that it is not available…how frustrating! I wish I knew how much lactic acid is in the Good Genes but I can't give you an exact number…I use daily (at night) and my very sensitive skin hasn't experienced an ounce of irritation!

      Take care and xoxo,
