Sisley Phyto-Blush Eclat in Pinky Coral #5

Above: Sisley blush is a delectable extravagance!
My birthday was almost two weeks ago and I received a plethora of beautiful gifts that I am finally finding time to post…up first is Sisley Phyto-Blush Eclat in Pinky Coral #5, a stunning cheek color that looks as amazing in the palette as it does on the face!  My dear friend, WQ, who understands and shares my love of high end beauty products, bestowed me with this generous gift.  This is meaningful because a year ago, she gave me the lovely Dior lip color that inspired my very first Beauty Professor review.
I cannot believe that an entire year has passed since the inception of Beauty Professor and will need to do a proper “one year anniversary” post before this month is over!

Retailing for a formidable $85, the Sisley blush is a serious investment!  It does, however, possess  some undeniably luxurious elements…housed in a sueded sheath, the slender compact features a striking black and white zebra design, a generous mirror and built in storage compartment for a small brush applicator (included).

Above: The Sisley Phyto-Blush Eclat is a work of art…before the compact is ever even opened!

Above: Pinky Coral #5 is just what the name implies…a luminous harmony of pale pink and true light coral,.

Above: The blush is embossed with an utterly gorgeous zebra pattern. It is so aesthetically wondrous that I am hesitant to do anything that would challenge the integrity of the design ; )

The blush itself is very finely milled.  Once applied to the face, it seamlessly blends into the skin, creating a glowing pink flush that is subtle, yet brightening.  Although the ingredients lists fragrance, I do not detect an obvious scent.  The finish of this blush is a satiny matte (rather than shimmer-laden) and I appreciate the fact that the intermixing of two shades allows me to customize my color, going heavier on the coral for a more dramatic look, or emphasizing the pale pink for subdued and innocent flush.

Bottom Line:  I love this indulgent blush…not only is it gorgeous to look at, but it also imparts an extremely flattering and believable pinky-coral glow.  It is finely milled, hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin and is perfect for touch ups throughout the day…its triad of shades truly brings life to the face.  I am so thankful to have received this opulent gift!

I am positively crazy about this blush now. It looks stunning on you. Would you say that this your favorite blush? Also, how is the pigmentation level, and how does it compare to Tom Ford?

Thank you so much, Akitamama!! I would say this blush definitely ranks in my top three (along with Tom Ford Frantic Pink and Rouge Bunny Rouge Gracilis). The pigmentation level is completely on par with the TF…it just has less shimmer than the Frantic Pink. I am really happy with the coral element, which is different that the pure pink of my two other favorite blushes! It is certainly an investment, but totally worth it for a makeup enthusiast ; )

Hello, I can't get this blush off my mind, can you recommend a lipstick would you go peachy or pink? My lips are naturally pigmented pink so anything nude or light doesn't work for me. The color you are wearing would wash me out.

I am dark brunette, fair skin, hazel eyes, my foundation is Lancome Teint Miracle Buff 4 do you think this blush would work for me.

    Thank you,

      Hello Gail

Thanks for the comment…have you tried any lip color from the Tom Ford line? I think that Pink Dusk would look lovely on you. It is a light-medium mauve pink that is extremely creamy and opaque but not too pale. Also, in terms of your coloring, I do indeed believe this blush would work for you! Please let me know if you have other questions and have a wonderful rest of the week!
