According to Le Metier de Beaute, the Bauhaus Lip Kaleidoscope is...
A deviously divine mix of function, flame, and form, Le Métier de Beauté [I fixed their online name error] introduces the newest Holiday Kaleidoscope Lip Kit, "Bauhaus." Each distinctive hue blends together effortlessly for a dimensional pout, mirroring the bold Bauhaus notion of combining unique parts for a collective whole. Lips will be left with a total package, mixing statement and sophistication.
The shades, from top to bottom are:
- Linaire: a lustrous gold-infused rose petal
- Criterion: a gilded amber-peach that translates to a very pale neutral
- Esthetique: a shimmering vintage rose (similar to but slightly brighter than Linaire)
- Silhouette: a Cimmerian cloak of sheer amethyst
These shades are quite sheer, but this makes the colors very easy to wear...I like mixing and applying the shades over a pale nude, like Tom Ford Nude Vanille, to give them an opaque and creamy look. The possibilities are endless! I love the moisturizing and long lasting formula indicative of classic Le Metier de Beaute quality. All in all, a gorgeous collection!

Bottom Line: I am so pleased with my very first Le Metier de Beaute Kaleidoscope...since receiving it, I have worn every shade multiple times. Bauhaus is simple to apply and the combination possibilities makes this a very versatile product. The kaleidoscope case is lighter than one would expect, making it reasonable to tote around in my handbag. I love this and would recommend it as a quintessential gift for any LMdB lip color lover!
