Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme in Bloom…Worth a Visit to Beverly Hills!

Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme in Bloom is a creamy and opaque pink beige nude (leaning more  towards the beige).
During my recent visit to the Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills Le Metier de Beaute counter, I picked up a lip creme exclusive to this NM location only….it is called Bloom, and was inspired by the store’s most famous Personal Shopper, Catherine Bloom!  I love the LMdB lip creme formula…Two Lips is one of my favorite peachy pinks and Bloom just adds to the magic of my growing LMdB collection.
Upon viewing its creamy nude luxuriousness, I knew it had to be mine…scroll on for images and shade comparisons.  If you are interested in procuring your own Bloom, I suggest calling the extremely kind and knowledgable Scott Reyes at the Neiman Marcus LMdB counter…he can be reached at (310) 550-5900.
The LMdB Lip Creme Glosses retail for $36.
The LMdB Lip Cremes have a doe foot applicator, are extremely moisturizing, last for around four hours per application and have a  pleasant vanilla scent that dissipates after a few minutes.
Above and below: Swatches of Bloom in various lighting…note that the shade of the swatches is exactly the shade of the product in the tube!
Above and below: Comparison swatches in various lighting from bottom top…Tom Ford Nude Vanille, Tom Ford Naked and Le Metier de Beaute Bloom.  In terms of consistency, Bloom is less shiny and plush than Naked, while also being a hint more opaque, making it more like a smooth and sophisticated liquid lipstick than a gloss.

Above and below: Me wearing LMdB Lip Creme in Bloom alone in various lighting.

Above from L-R: Swatches of Tom Ford Nude Vanille and Le Metier de Beaute Bloom…Bloom is a touch more peach/beige/nude than Nude Vanille (which has a discernible pink tinge).
Bloom alone on the lips (in shade).
Bottom Line: Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme in Bloom is just lovely…despite my vast nude lip color collection, I do not have a dupe for this opaque creamy beige luxury that is fetching on its own and perfect to add some creamy opacity and lightness to an otherwise darker lip color. The fact that thi formula does not dry out my lips and lasts a great deal of time is just icing on this beautiful pale nude cake!  Highly recommended!

I like the peachy tone in Bloom. It looks like there is enough color in this nude where I will not look dead. I shall investigate!
