Guerlain Parure Extreme Foundation Swatches

Guerlian’s Parure Extreme Foundation SPF 25 is touted as a very long wearing skin base, able to withstand extreme weather conditions (both hot and cold) while maintaining flawless coverage.  While I have used this foundation in the past, especially when outdoors (in the winter, I wear Beige Clair 02), it is not in my current rotation since I am generally indoors and don’t need foundation for extreme conditions.  I am happy, however, to share these swatches with my readers…enjoy and do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions!

      Hello Andrea,

Thanks for stopping by…I would say that #13 would likely be your best match. It has a great neutral to rosy beige undertone and is about NW 25. I hope that helps!!

      Warm regards,

I'm NC 25/30 in MAC, does #3 suits me? Are all the shades of Guerlain the same? I've tried Guerlain Parure Gold in the counter and #3 seems too dark, almost a bronzer, the SA recommended #2 but I have strong yellow undertones. She recommended Guerlain Parure Lumiere instead, #32 and fits me well (until I got home and realized it was a shade lighter than my neck)

      Hello Karen Ann,

Thanks for the question. If you are closer to NC 30, I think #3 will be a fantastic match. I wouldn't say that the numbered shades across all of the Guerlain foundations are entirely consistent…close, but not exact. It just depends on the formula! I can wear this formula in #2 when I am a NC 20-25 and #3 when I am a NC 25-30 (late spring and summer).

      I hope that helps!

Hii thank you for the shades, I have really yellow undertones but I'm kind of tan also, you think 4 would be good for me? thanks 🙂

Hi Soficore…thanks for the question. In light of your description it sounds to me like #4 could work. If it ends up being too dark, then I suggest getting #3 as well to mix in to create your perfect shade!

Hi I'm NC35 and saw on sale Beige Fonce05, do you think it would work for me? TIA!

      Hello Tin,

I don't have Beige Fonce #5 in my swatches so I couldn't say for sure. If you are NC 35, then #4 or #23 could potentially work!

Hello! Thanks for good review! Can you tell with shade is more light #2 or #3? I have NW2 I think. And I don't want yellow or pink undertone. I need more neutral. Which you can recommend? Thank you:)

Hi, I use NC45 in MAC. I feel either Dore Moyen(24) or Dore fonce would be what my choice ought to be. Which would you suggest would be a better option. Thanks :-).

      Hello May!

I am guessing that you would be better off in the Dore Moyen (24).

      I hope that helps…xx,
