Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Compact Foundation

The Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Compact Foundation and Concealer comes housed in a  glossy black compact equipped with a generous mirror.
This is the first of a series of posts on Guerlain Foundations.  When I was in Palm Beach, FL last month, I had the luxury of staying at a hotel that had its own Guerlain Boutique, thereby giving me plenty of time for relaxation and swatching!  The Lingerie de Peau Compact Foundation and Concealer, which retails for $70, is Guerlain’s latest foundation installment, combining their famed Lingerie de Peau formula with a solid cream texture and matching concealer.  I couldn’t find real life swatches of the shade offerings online, so was inspired to post them…this is more of an image offering rather than a review, since I do not currently use this foundation.
From the Nordstrom website:
Experience Guerlain’s latest creation: invisible skin-infusion foundation. Imagine the most intimate of lingerie: Lingerie de Peau fuses with the skin like an imperceptible second skin. In perfect harmony with the skin, it combines a moisturizing cream foundation and an exceptionally soft concealer for a ‘made-to-measure’ finish.
The Lingerie de Peau Compact foundation comes in six shades in the US, with 02 Beige Clair and 12 Rose Clair as the lightest options and 05 Beige Fonce as the darkest tone.

The long swatch is the foundation and the shorter circular swatch is the concealer for each pairing in the compact.  It appears that 02 Beige Clair and 12 Rose Clair would work for fair and light skin tones, 03 Beige Natural would be appropriate for light to medium tones and 04 Beige Moyen and 05 Beige Fonce would be suitable for dark medium to dark skin tones.

I have recently been getting into Geurlain, I love their lipsticks! Thanks for the swatches!

Sorry for the delay since you had asked me which RBR lipstick I bought. I got 'the plot thickens' the nude color. I love it! I notice though that my lips have to be in tip top condition because it tends to show every flaw. I recently ordered the bronzer (I am pretty sure its the same shade you just reviewed) a lipgloss, and one of the glassy glosses (also in the shade you just reviewed). I love pinky nudes!!

With my last order, I purchased the lipgloss 'Inflammable' and I LOVE it. I think you would really like it. It looks really pretty with 'the plot thickens' lipstick. It just adds some shimmer, a bit of iridescence.

      I love your blog!

      Hello J,

So good to hear from you! You are right…the Guerlain lipstick is lovely…I just have a little difficulty finding the paler shades that I prefer.

Congrats on "The Plot Thickens" RBR lipstick…I have the same one and love it. It adds such a nice nude base, but I, too, find myself adding some sort of gloss over it. Inflammable sounds amazing…must check it out! Enjoy the bronzer and Rahat Lokum Glassy Gloss…I can personally attest to the fact that they are both magnificent.

Thanks so much for reading…it is always lovely to read your comments!

      Take care,

Great blog! I love to find people with the same skincolor! Can I ask you why you don't like the chanel vitalumiere aqua? Is it because it is rather orange (because this is def something that keeps me from not buying it..)

Thanks, Inez…I did find the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua to oxidize darker on me and it is also much more fragranced that I generally prefer ; )
