Rouge Bunny Rouge Feline Gaze in Salome

As promised, here is a quick review for Rouge Bunny Rouge Feline Gaze Eye Khol in Salome.  Retailing for a reasonable $20, this pure black eye pencil promises to be…
A darkly elegant seductive feline? A mystical flower-of-the-hour doe-eyed beauty? A deliciously sinful sultry almond-eyed goddess? Be pure temptation itself, as you purringly write your own manifesto with this eye pencil that adorns you. So soft that it almost melts on application, but will stay put day or night, inviting closer inspection… dancing in the memory of those who met you long after you’ve left the room and inviting all manner of thoughts.

Salome is a jet black eye pencil that requires traditional sharpening with regular use.

I am shocked by how long I can go between sharpenings…even with daily use (on my lower waterline), I only need to sharpen it once every two weeks or so.

Salome is a jet black that applies smoothy without dragging or pulling.  It is so creamy and long wearing!

Salome on the upper and lower waterlines.  A beautiful natural black that really stays put.

Bottom Line: I am beyond pleased with my selection…RBR Salome is a potent black that makes eye pop in a sophisticated way.  It is creamy, long lasting and completely utilitarian thereby earning a permanent home in my makeup bag.

Me too! Though my orders to Beauty Habit with one day shipping (it's local for me) isn't helping my restraint : ) What are some of your favorite RBR products? Thanks so much for reading and following!

Thank you! I am wearing two (OK, maybe three!) coats of Mally Volumizing Mascara.

I reviewed this mascara earlier this month (just type "Mally" in the "Search This Blog" box on the right hand corner of the page, under "Blog Archives" to read more about it) and am pleasantly surprised by its results.

I have used a ton of mascaras in my life (with my previous favorites being Armani's Eyes to Kill, Tarte's Lights Camera Lashes, Kevyn Aucoin's Volumizing and Dior Blackout) but am really pleased with the effects of the Mally!

    Thanks so much for reading…

As I was googling this eyeliner, of course, I stumbled back onto your blog. Again and again, we prove to have the same taste! I was wondering if this eyeliner is good for getting a very very thin line on your upper lashes? I recently ordered the Napolean matte liner based on your suggestion, but I also want a pencil liner that can make a very thin line. Would this do it? Would you know of anything else that would be good for this purpose? Thanks!

That is wild…love that we have similar taste, MG! I do love this eyeliner but if you are looking to tightline on your upper lash line (either inner waterline or outer lash line), I would suggest the Marc Jacobs Hi-Liner in Blacquer…it is much more waterproof! That being said, the Marc Jacobs pencil is retractable and therefore doesn't sharpen to a precise point…one more option is the Chantecaille Le Stylo Ultra Slim (which is a liquid liner with a super fine felt tip!).

      I hope that helps…xx,
